QC Vaccination Site Pinyahan Elementary School

 Vaccine day!

We were scheduled for vaccination at 10am, but we were there around 9:40 am. The line for 1st dose patients were short that we were only queued for around 10 minutes. Before 10:00 am, we were inside getting our information checked.

Be warned. Parking slots are limited. You'd have to go around the neighborhood to score some sweet parking estate.

This is the end of the queue when we got there.

While waiting, they let you fill up the patient forms. We are having Sinovac, and the name is all over the forms. Seats are provided for the for about 20(ish?) people then after that, you'd have to stand. But don't worry, it won't take long.

Don't make the same mistake that I did. The attending Physician will be the one who will do the checking.

Pinyahan Elementary School is clean and spacious place. Very conducive to learning. I am impressed.

Once they let you in, you walk towards the covered court.

I got distracted by the pretty garden the have.

Please don't mind the name. That's epal and frowned upon.

Basically there are two lines here, one for 1st dose patients and another for their 2nd dose. By the time you get to the first screening, it will branch out into three lines. There are volunteers who will help you get into your line.

For first time patients, they will need your QR code or information print out. A screenshot of your email with your patient number is probably fine.

The three people who are behind the computer are probably verifying your booking in Ezconsult. This will take only a few minutes.

Wear your face shields properly.

Once you get through, you'll get to your health screening. This is where the attending physician will do consultation with you. They would just basically asked the stuff on the list where you wrote your name. If you have comorbidities, they might ask you to get your blood pressure checked. It's in the same place, so no need to tour around the vaccination site.

Be truthful to the Doctors there.

All set! Time to get your vaccine! When it gets to your turn, you will fill up your Vaccination Card then just put your bare arms at the opening for that vaccine goodness. This is the perfect time for selfies. The person administering the vaccine doesn't mind after going through all those countless future Youtube sensations chasing that golden validation.

For QC residents/workers who booked through EzConsult, this will be your vaccination card. Once your attending "vaccinator" fills that up, keep it safe. Take a photo of it as proof that you have had your first dose if ever you lose this. I've overheard over at the 2nd dose line that one guy doesn't have his card because he lost it. They were asking him if he has a photo, or any other documentation that he is indeed due for a second dose.

Congratulations! You're done! Time to head to the monitoring room where they will see if you have immediate side effects. I've never seen a room with so many Blood Pressure contraptions. You are are required to stay for at least 15 minutes. But from my experience, I'd don't think I was there for even 5 minutes.

At the monitoring room.

Once they let you out, you're all done for the day. Take a rest and monitor yourself for any side effects. I just became drowsy by mid afternoon so I went home from work. By the time I got home, I didn't feel sleepy at all. The next day, my arm was just tender around the injection area.

Stay healthy and safe! Get vaccinated!
