New binoculars day!
Something that is a little more serious in my optical arsenal. Locally, this is the best you can get among the modern offerings that are officially sold here. There are previous generation Pentax DCF ED's still officially sold and will probably prance around this ZD 8x43 WP all day long. Otherwise you can scour gun shops for the pricey Steiners, which are presumably gray items. This summarizes the dreadful footing of the Philippine binoculars market. Of course, we can go on-line and order a pair, but for a traditional shopper like me, who wants to examine before buying, especially to something expensive, I'd rather walk inside brick and mortar.
